Membership in the AAUW is open to anyone who holds a two-year associate’s degree or higher degree from an accredited college or university.

AAUW national individual membership dues are $59.00; $56.00 is tax deductible as a charitable contribution, and $3.00 is not because it supports the AAUW Action Fund’s section 501[c][4] Lobby Corps and get-out-the-vote activities.
If you are still a student, there are three ways that you can join AAUW now.

- E-Student affiliation (free): E-Student affiliation is free for all undergraduate students attending an AAUW college/university partner institution. Upon graduation e-student affiliates receive a free, one-year membership to AAUW as a graduation gift. Several local northern NJ colleges and universities are partners, including (but not limited to): William Paterson University, Berkeley College, Drew University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Seton Hall University and County College of Morris. 2. Student affiliation ($18.81): Undergraduate students at institutions that are NOT AAUW college/university partners can join national AAUW for $18.81 a year. NJ State and local Greater Wayne Area branch dues are additional.

- Graduate Students ($18.81 for your first year and $59.00 thereafter): If you’re in grad school, you’re already eligible to join AAUW since you have already presumably earned an undergraduate degree. However, you can get a an introductory grad school rate of $18.81 for your first year. After that, you will be a member at the full rate of $59.00 per year. Grad student dues are $18.81 for the first year, $16.81 is tax deductible and $2.00 is not.
Annual dues paid after March 15 are good for the remainder of the current year and for the following year.
